Donate to Victims of Northern California Wildfires

Dear GCSANC Members:

On behalf of the GCSANC Board of Directors, we send our heartfelt prayers and best wishes to those impacted by the wildfires currently ravaging Napa, Sonoma and Yuba counties.  We are here to offer our support and assistance in whatever capacity we can.

Both GCSANC and GCSAA offer some level of financial assistance to those affected by such tragedies:

GCSANC Benevolence Fund

GCSANC maintains a Benevolence Fund for assisting members in times of need.  Benevolence fund monies are to be distributed by a majority Board of Directors vote to any charitable cause presented and approved by the Board.  Examples may include, but are not limited to: youth golf development programs, disaster relief, and to any disabled or distressed members.

All organizations or individuals seeking contributions may be allowed time to present their need at a Board meeting as agreed upon by the officer of the Board.  Discussion time among Board members will be made to discuss the issue before decision.  Disbursement of monies from the Benevolence Fund will be done by the Association Manager under the guidance of association officers.

If you would like to be considered for GCSANC Benevolence Fund assistance, please reply to this email with an explanation of your circumstances, and a Board member will contact you to discuss the situation further.

If you are a GCSANC member who would like to make a contribution to the GCSANC Benevolence Fund, simply login to your account through and enter the amount of your donation and your payment details on the “Donation” page.  You may also reply to this email, and we will be happy to facilitate your Benevolence Fund donation.

  • Any GCSAA member is eligible for this assistance.
  • The amount of the assistance provided shall differ by situation up to a maximum of $2,000 per claim.
  • GCSAA reserves the right to verify the information received from the member.
  • Claims will be processed on a first-come, first serve basis.

GCSAA will provide financial assistance up to $2,000 to members who contact us (via phone or email) and whose daily lives are altered by the effects of the natural disaster and whom meet any of the following criteria:

  1. Have had to relocate/evacuate (whether they are staying with family, friends or in a motel) from their homes.
  2. Remain in their homes, but lose basic necessities such as electricity, water, etc. which lead to unexpected financial burden.

GCSAA’s goal is to provide financial assistance as quickly as possible.
